- Wenatchee is a city located in Chelan County, Washington. Wenatchee is nestled in the eastern foothills of the majestic Cascade Mountain range at the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia rivers. Wenatchee is known as the "Apple Capital of the World" for the valley's many orchards, which produce apples enjoyed around the world. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 27,856. It is the county seat of Chelan County.

The average household size is 2.53 and the average family size is 3.17.
